The Galaxy WR can improve textural irregularities in male skin due to loss of collagen in the dermis such as: non-dynamic moderate wrinkles, enlarge pores, superficial acne scarring, rough skin texture, and skin laxity of the face and neck to help reduce men’s wrinles. This male wrinkle removal process is done non-ablatively, which means that this is a non-invasive procedure. Most men leave the treatment office with only slight pinkness or no pinkness at all, they can return to work immediately with fewer wrinkles.
Pre/post treatment
» protect the treated area with spf 30 or higher sunblock to help prevent hyper-pigmentation from sun exposure.
» discontinue any irritant topical agents for 2-3 days prior to WR treatment
» some redness and swelling in the treated area is expected, use cold compressor to help reduce these symptoms. Aesthetician may apply some mild hydrocortisone or antibiotic ointment.
» wash the area gently and do not use harsh and/or abrasive products in the treated area for 3 days.
» do not take bath, sauna, hot tub, or expose the treated area to excess heat for 3 days.
» if a superficial crust or scabbing occurs, do not rub, scratch or remove the scab, cleanse the area gently and pat dry.

Does treatment hurt?
The sensation may be described as a “hot pinch”, like someone snapping an elastic band on your skin. Clients tolerate treatment well by use of either cooling the skin during treatment and/or use of a topical anesthetic cream that numbs the skin.
Who should be treated with the Galaxy WR?
Anyone with unwanted moderate wrinkles, superficial acne scarring, enlarged pores, or rough skin texture from chronic sun-damage. Pigmentation from chronic sun-damage may also improve over the series of treatments. Dynamic wrinkles such as between the brows or deep folks near the mouth/nose are not realistic indications for Galaxy WR treatment.
Are there any risks to treatment?
Any laser procedure has risk of side effects such as superficial blistering, crusting,and pigmentary changes in the skin. These risks are rare and usually quickly resolved. The Galaxy incorporates several technological advances that focus on client safety to minimize these risks and provide greater satisfaction. The laser handpiece is also cooled for skin protection and comfort during the procedure.
